Sancharam Club is a travel club meant exclusively for the students, it is headed by Santhosh George Kulangara, the first Indian space tourist designate. Now the club has 26,111 proud members in it. The inspiration behind this club is the popular visual travelogue serial named Sancharam which is produced by Santhosh George Kulangara and is being successfully telecast on the Asianet News Channel. The club aims at creating a passion for travel in children through short and long tour programmes. These journeys will enable children to acquire a wide range of experiences and thereby gather self confidence and courage.
